WELCOME TO BRANCHES
WELCOME TO BRANCHES
Thank you for viewing our site. Branches Christian Rest and Renewal Centers, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit religious organization. We are a Roman Catholic ministry that welcomes all who love Christ. Branches is located on beautiful Seneca Lake, NY.
The mission of Branches is to bring people closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Communion of Saints, so we may share Christ's love with others.
You are invited to attend our "Open to All" retreats or contact us to inquire about an Individual, Family, Young Adult, Corporate or Group retreat. Visit the Hermitage Reservation tab for information about Overnight retreats. All of our retreatants immersed themselves in a peaceful lakeside setting as we take time to “unplug” from our daily lives to pray, rest and deepen our faith.
Our Stay Connected video expresses the importance of staying connected to the Vine.
The Our Property tab provides a description of our property. The Branches' Experience tab will give you a sense of how beautiful and peaceful Branches is.
We welcome you to visit our site often. Please share us with your family and friends! Whether you visit us online to frequent the Prayer tab, enjoy our photographs, or better yet in person at our retreats to soak up the Branches' Experience, we hope you will draw closer to Jesus and His love for you.
Taking time to retreat... to pull back... to rest our minds and bodies are essential to our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
We invite you to rest, pray, learn and deepen your love for Christ at a Branches' Retreat.
Whether you attend a day retreat or stay longer in the Sacred Heart hermitage, you will find peace in the beautiful solitude of Branches.
We welcome you to view our 2023 Day Retreat schedule.
May the Love of Jesus be with you. Amen.
OUTDOOR STATIONS OF THE CROSS
The Stations of the Cross commemorate Jesus's passion and death on the cross. The practice began as pious pilgrims traced His path through Jerusalem on the Via Dolorosa.
Later, for the many who wanted to pass along the same route, but could not make the trip to Jerusalem, a practice developed that eventually took the form of the fourteen stations currently found in Catholic Churches throughout the world.
We are forever grateful of the supreme love and sacrifice of Our Lord, which Branches Outdoor Stations of the Cross represents.
