Would you like to contemplate Christ with Mary, His mother? If so, our August 6, 2018 retreat will help you do just that.

“Contemplating Christ with Mary” is the retreat chosen for that day, the Feast Day of the Transfiguration. This retreat will be led by Sister Kathleen Murphy, OSF, Vice – President of Branches’ Board of Trustees.

Sister Kathleen is a spiritual director and has a practice in Williamsville, NY and in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She also facilitates retreats in Western New York and Southern Ontario, teaches spiritual direction and mentors students of the Haden Institute.

“Contemplating Christ with Mary” is a retreat on the Rosary. Much of it is based on an apostolic letter written by Pope John Paul II entitled “Rosarium Virginis Mariae”, translated “the Rosary of the Virgin Mary”. It was in this letter that the luminous mysteries of the Rosary were introduced. One of the luminous mysteries is the Transfiguration, which is the feast of the universal Church celebrated on August 6 th. It is no coincidence that we are offering this retreat on the Feast of the Transfiguration!
