About the event

"Saint Pope John Paul II the Great" Retreat

Facilitated by Ann Kern.

Saint Pope John Paul II is the second longest serving pope in history and traveled more miles as Pope than all his predecessors combined.  He was ardently devoted to Mary and the Rosary, was instrumental in ending communism, built bridges with other faiths, and was adored by Catholic youth.  Come and learn more about the amazing life and deep spirituality of this modern day Saint who captivated the Catholic Church and the world.

Ann Kern works as the Administrative Assistant to the Head of School at Nichols School.  She attends St. Joseph University Parish in Buffalo where she serves as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector, has taught Religious Education, coordinated the parish Pre-Cana Program with her husband, and presented to parents and women on spiritual topics.  Ann completed the Spiritual Direction Training Program at the St. Joseph Center for Spirituality in Clarence, New York.  She and her husband, Doug, have two adult children.
