“Sharing the Passion of Jesus with Mary, His Mother and Ours” is the theme of a day retreat to be offered by life-long friend of Branches and Vice- President of its Board of Trustees, Sister Kathleen Murphy, OSF. This retreat will be offered on Tuesday, June 21st with a rain date of Thursday, June 23rd.

Sister Kathleen is a professed member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities and has spent most of her life as an educator in Catholic Schools, serving as a teacher and then as a principal in the Diocese of Buffalo, and as a district superintendent in the Diocese of Rochester, an associate superintendent in the Diocese of Buffalo, and finally as Superintendent of Schools in the Diocese of Ogdensburg.

After forty-five years in Catholic Education, Sister Kathleen became the Director of St. Columban Retreat Center in Derby, NY. While there she studied and became certified as a spiritual director by the Haden Institute. Currently she has spiritual direction practices in both the United States and Canada. Sister Kathleen also facilitates retreats, her most recent one being a parish mission in Old Forge and Inlet, NY.

During this June retreat day, Sister Kathleen Murphy, OSF will lead you through a series of guided meditations using her imagination and yours as we share in the Passion of Jesus through the eyes and heart of His mother and ours, Mary.
