If you would like an in-depth perspective on three of Mary’s Apparitions, come join us at Branches Rest and Renewal Retreat Center on the Feast Day of the Assumption on August 15, 2018.

The retreat “THE DAY OF APPARITIONS – GOD’S DIALOGUE WITH HIS PEOPLE THROUGH HIS MOTHER” is a presentation on the Blessed Mother’s main apparition sites: Lourdes at sunrise, Fatima at mid-day and Medjugorje in the evening. This ‘day of apparition’ comprises the hub that sets God’s plan of salvation for the world, through Mary, into motion. There is a golden thread that weaves through all of these visitations finding their fulfillment in the last of them – Medjugorje, the evening of the ‘day of apparition’.

The retreat will be led by Lena Shipley, retired Pastoral Associate of St. Francis & St. Clare Parish in Waterloo/Seneca Falls. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Queen of Peace Apostolate and serves as the editor of their monthly newsletter “Via Ad Pacem”. Lena has traveled to these sites of Marian Apparitions and has a deep foundation in Marian spirituality. After her return from Medjugorje in 1988, a Marian Cenacle was formed where Lena began to receive interior locutions from Mary and Jesus. She is committed to sharing her gifts with others so that many will come to know Mary and respond to her call.
